How blank-fire combat simulation equipment works?

FireTag is a tactical blank-fire combat simulation system designed for training military, police, law enforcement, PMC units, security forces, and self-defense instructors.

Operators use blank-firing guns (with blank cartridges) or live/civilian weapons equipped with Blank Firing Adapters, on which MILES-compatible IR emitters are mounted. The IR emitter is fully synchronized with the blank shot from the weapon.

Each operator wears MILES-compatible IR sensor gear that detects hits from the IR emitters of other operators (headbands, vests, helmets).
Thus, every active trainee has:

• a blank-firing gun with an IR emitter, and
• body and head IR hit-detection sensors.

Trainees run a variety of scenarios — from simple modes like Team Deathmatch and Last Man Standing to more complex missions such as building assaults, tactical entry, room clearing, CQB and MOUT exercises, hostage rescue, and more.

The system can also be used as a safe shooting-range solution when combined with our IR target systems.
