We have good news for laser tag players, Zombie apocalypses fans and those, who want to run scenarios that use any characters without guns. LASERWAR launches production of a new unique device called "Zombie headband".

How Laser tag Zombie set works

In its design an and software settings, the Zombie laser tag game set is similar to our popular LASERWAR Hostage set. It has bright LEDs, multi-zone hit sensors, vibration and a background light - all that player has in Hostage set or simple RGB headbands. Of course the game manager can adjust all its parameters including: 
- the power of the infrared ray,
- the amount of damage that the Zombie inflicts on human,
- the number of monster health hit points.

"Zombie" headbands are completely autonomous and independent that’s why a zombie player doesn't need a gun. We have developed special boards with infrared diodes. They are built into the domes with sensors located on the headband. There are four such diodes. These diodes emit damaging commands every 2-3 seconds. The damage radius is up to 5 meters. All players within this radius take damage. Zombies are visible on the game field because their hit sensors always glow a with a green.

Design and ergonomics

We made the Zombie headband as compact and practical as possible. Its weight is only 220 grams (8 oz). Playing with such headband will be comfortable even for a child.

The battery and control board are located in different cases, so the weight of the device is distributed uniformly. Sensors of the device are closed with rounded domes for the safety reasons. They reliably protect electronics from moisture and shock loads.

The domes are made of polycarbonate and are not afraid of mechanical damage. Electronic boards are protected by a special coating. All this guarantees the failure-free operation of the device in renting business.

Each bandage comes with a removable hygienic cuff (sweatband). It is very useful when you have several events in a day, you can easily replace the cuff and return the headband to the game again.

The hygienic cuff consists of two layers. The first layer that contacts the player’s skin is made of modern AirMesh fabric. This high-quality fabric is used in sports goods manufacturing. This AirMesh itself consists of three layers of the knitted structure. They form cells of different sizes. Due to this structure, the fabric perfectly "breathes" and dries quickly. This fabric is hypoallergenic and does not cause friction dermal irritation. AirMesh is strong and durable.

The second layer of the cuff is made of foam substrate. It protects the electronics from moisture.

Opportunities

The device can be activated using any remote control device or any respawn device. "Zombies" laser tag device works with laser tag equipment 8, 9 and X-generation.
