There are many documented facts online about blank guns causing very serious injuries to people specifically when shot at very close ranges.

Note, that bank guns can be dangerous or even lethal especially if a player shot them at somebody from very close distance. So never shoot a blank gun directly at somebody at close proximity because

- blank has about the same amount of energy as a real bullet depending on the size of that caliber of round
- not the bullet itself but the charge or the gunpowder that's inside of the actual cartridge can hit the player
- something may be lodged in the barrel
- something might break or loose and a small particle can hit somebody in the eye

There is evidence that blank guns can do very serious injury and even cause death at close range because of the significant amount of energy within the cartridge itself.

Blank gun energy dissipates within some distance, so theoretically they're not really going to make injuries within some distance but it greatly depends on a gun, its caliber and other factors. So you should consult the gun producer and the cartridges producer about the safe distance and about damage can be caused.

Avoid shooting directly at that person at close distances during the game if you don’t want to be responsible for injuring somebody. Use protective clothing, special glasses and helmets.
